The Kaltura video player will be updated to include a refreshed interface and new features.

All instances of the new player will include a few enhancements:

• Quality selection - control your preferred video quality (e.g., 360p, 1080p, ect.) regardless of connection speed in the settings option.
• Seek options - move forwards or backwards in the video 10 seconds using player controls.
• Faster load times - the new player improves load times over the old player.

• Dual Screen - choose your preferred layout in an improved UX/UI. Hover on the scrubber for a dual-stream preview of the playback area.
• Hotspots - there is now a visual marker on the scrubber for when deployed hotspots will appear.
• Chapters - searchable and available to view right from the scrubber.
• Show Navigation - click the button in the top right of the player to review chapters, slides, and hotspots in one place.
