UNM is Moving to Canvas Summer 2022

Rocket Ship

The University of New Mexico is moving to the Canvas Learning Management System. It will replace Blackboard Learn starting in Summer 2022.

We are currently in the process of implementing Canvas. We have been busy at work with various implementation tasks, such as system configuration, building an integration between Banner and Canvas, assessing content migration options, custom development and branding, developing processes and how to structure the course hierarchy within Canvas, evaluating roles and permissions, and planning how to roll out Canvas at UNM (to name just a few).

This site provides information about progress, timeline, and updates throughout the process. Please visit Teaching & Learning Workshops for upcoming Canvas training and Open Lab sessions.
