Kaltura – Create or edit a Media Gallery Playlist

  1. Click Media Gallery in your course navigation.
  2. Click the Channel Actions Button > Create channel playlist.

  1. Give your playlist a title.
  2. (Optional) Add a description and tags to better organize your content.
  3. Click Create.
  4. Add items to your playlist by clicking the add button (+).

Note: By default, your My Media repository will load. If you wish to only add videos you’ve already published to your course’s Media Gallery, select Media Gallery from the dropdown.

  1. Items added to the playlist will populate in the right column.

  1. (Optional) Items will appear in the order they were added. Hover over the move icon and click and drag to reorder the items.

Note: If you accidentally add an item, click the ellipsis (…) menu > Remove.

  1. Once you are finished adding items to the playlist, click Go to Media Gallery.
Creating more than 10 playlists will impact Media Gallery imports

If you choose to create more than 10 playlists in a single Media Gallery, your playlists will be skipped when importing the Media Gallery into your new course.

Edit a Media Gallery Playlist

  1. Click Media Gallery in your course navigation.
  2. Click the Channel Actions Button > Edit.

  1. Click the Playlists tab.

  1. Click the edit (pencil) icon to the right of the playlist you wish to edit.
  2. The Edit Playlist screen will load.

From here you can modify the name of the playlist, add or modify the description or tags, and add or remove items.
