How to view your Pressbooks Grades

 Grade passback or Grade Synchronization allows students to see their up-to-date Pressbooks grades directly from their Canvas course.

  1. Click the Grades option in the Canvas Course navigation menu.

  2. Pressbooks graded assignments will automatically synchronize with your Course gradebook, so you should be able to view your up-to-date grades.

  3. Additionally, you can view your grades for these assignments through Pressbooks Results Viewer if your instructor has added the link to it.

  4. If you are unable to see your grades in Canvas, we recommend reaching out to your instructor to ensure that they have set up their Pressbooks graded assignment settings set up correctly. You can also reach out to Pressbooks Support or Canvas Support for further assistance.

    Note: Not all courses will have Pressbooks graded assignments enabled, there may only be book chapters in some courses.
