How to choose settings for GoReact activities
The information below covers the settings available to choose from when setting up a GoReact activity in your course. These are the general steps for selecting activity settings. For more detailed information on GoReact activities and settings, please visit Activity Types and Activity Settings.
Setup for activities occurs after integrating the activity into your Canvas course. Please visit How to Integrate GoReact Activities into your Canvas Course for more information.
- After creating the Canvas assignment, the GoReact app will open and give you the option to create activities from "Blank Activity," "Previous Activity," and "Copy from Template."
- After selecting an option, you will be brought to the activity settings page.
- The first setting to choose is the Type of activity, which determines what students will do for their GoReact assignment. Please visit Assignment Types for more information.
- Next is Recording & Feedback Privacy, which determines if other students can view their peers’ submissions and allow for critiquing.
- Select Recording Settings.
Please note:- Group recording session is only available for Standard type assignments. For more information, see Group recording activities.
- Live Review allows instructors and students to provide feedback live at the time of recording. For more information, see Live review activities.
- Single recording attempt (test) restricts students to only one submission for the Activity. Their submission must be a direct recording. For more information, see Single Attempt activities.
- Select Feedback Settings. Please note that the points values in GoReact must be the same as the value in Canvas.
- Once settings are selected, click Done.
