INSTRUCTORS: Before you begin:
- Students at campuses participating in the Course Materials Access program access Pearson materials through the My Shelf (VitalSource BookShelf) course link in Canvas.
- Non-VitalSource students access Pearson materials through their Access Pearson course link in Canvas and use access codes.
The Access Pearson integration allows for Pearson educational content to be directly integrated with Canvas. Instructors can integrate assignments and materials from either Pearson MyLab/Mastering, Pearson Revel, or Pearson eText and have grades automatically synced to Canvas. Students will benefit from being able to access their Pearson materials inside of Canvas-removing the need to access materials on a separate website.
The Access Pearson integration acts as a unified access point through Canvas for Pearson MyLab & Mastering, Pearson Revel, and Pearson eText products. However, the platforms are still separate and have different instructions.
